Use <description> from XML as content

More an more sites and pages are disappearing behind a paywall. The do provide an RSS feed, but the links in the XML point to pages that generate an error message because you need to log in.

What we would like for these cases is the option to use the field of the RSS feed as the content (and the excerpt)

We have used the meta data from the page until now, but in many cases the text in the description is longer, and provides better content.

Suggestion: Can you add a parameter use_feed_content ?

Thanks for the suggestion. But is there a reason why you can’t use the original feed in these cases, instead of passing it through Full-Text RSS? Is there anything that Full-Text RSS is adding here if the content cannot be extracted from such feeds?
