This is a new issue, I only noticed it in the last two months.
New York Times stories often have important captions on their photos. Recently, Push has not been including them. Sometimes there is nothing and sometimes it is just the credit.
Here is a sample story:
If I try to use Pastepad, it fails to load because there are too many images.

Thanks for reporting this. We’ve added a fix to preserve captions.
The way NY Times is serving its articles, if the images haven’t loaded, you might not see them in our output. So you might have to scroll the article down to ensure the image loading is triggered, and then use Push to Kindle.
But in either case, the captions should now be preserved.
