This is an arcane one!

On my PC, if I go to www.askwoody.com/newsletter/ and log in, I can push the subscription version of their newsletter and it comes out just fine.

But if I follow the same steps on Android, I get some article titles–clearly from the correct source, but not including any part of the articles.

There are two methods for pushing articles to Push-to-kindle (P2K):

  1. Just passing the URL to P2K server, so the server loads the article from source site
  2. Your browser (e.g. desktop) gets the content from source site, while you are logged-in. And a plugin or bookmarklet grabs the whole html code from the browser and pushes the complete content to P2K servers.

Method 1 does not work for articles behind a paywall or log-in. It also does not work for pages that are heavily using JavaScript or anti-bot mechanics.

For method 2 you need to install the P2K plugin for desktop browser or the bookmarklet for desktop or mobile browsers.

So I guess, that you have the plugin on your desktop but have not installed the bookmarklet for mobile? The mobile P2K app unfortunately can’t do the job with method 2, due to restrictions of Apple and Google.
