This is puzzling me. I am trying to create a full text feed based on this feed:

When I enter it into my site, it creates the feed just fine it seems.
http://*********.nfshost.com/makefulltextfeed.php?url=hosted2.ap.org%2Fatom%2FAPDEFAULT%2F3d281c11a96b4ad082fe88aa0db04305&max=20&links=preserve&exc=&submit=Create+Feed
But when I go to add it to Google Reader, I get…
“The feed being requested cannot be found.”
Would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks
I ran into another feed that gave me the same problem. Tried it in News Blur instead of Feedly/Google Reader, and it worked fine. Any idea why? Thanks!

Hi Cynthia, it could be that Google gives up when the request takes longer than it expects. If you want to see if this is the cause, try reducing the item limit to 1 - ie. tell Full-Text RSS to retrieve and return 1 item from the original feed. This should speed up how quickly a response is returned to Google. See if that works. If it does, you could try increasing the number and see at what point Google gives you the error.
In some news readers you can specify a timeout for feeds, but I’m not sure if you can do that with these - I’m pretty sure you can’t with Google Reader.
