How can one put the output of the script to a xml file?
I mean what is the main function’s name?

Hi there,

Full-Text RSS is intended to be used as a web service. So if you want to save the results to disk, you’ll have to capture the HTTP response produced by Full-Text RSS and write it to disk.

You can see a few of the steps involved on our help page: http://help.fivefilters.org/customer/portal/articles/1066742-code-example

If you use a different programming language, you might want to look at our Mashape listing: https://www.mashape.com/fivefilters/full-text-rss

Neither of these show the writing to disk part, but once you’ve capture the response, the rest shouldn’t be so difficult.

Thanks for the information. I just wanted to know if the output of this:

	$request = 'http://host/makefulltextfeed.php?url=feed_url;
	$result = @file_get_contents($request);

is html or xml? if not xml, how can I change to pure xml, regarding performance?

It’s RSS 2.0 which is XML. So you can parse it as regular XML or use an RSS parser if there’s one available in your programming language.
